CPD Programme

Continuous Professional Development Programme is conducted every month on various topics to learn latest developments. Eminent Professionals in the field of Physiotherapy are invited to give talk on a specific area and the program helps the students in the recent trends in practice.

Workshop on Stretches was conducted on 04th Sep 2023 The workshop's purpose was to impart knowledge to students about stretching and teach them the right approaches to treat various conditions.

80 students participated in this workshop 43 students are from 2nd year, 37 students from 1st year. It was held in United Physiotherapy College. Resource Person was Dr. Suresh Franklin from Synergy Physio Care and Rehab Centre, Chennai. Commenced with prayer song at 09:30 am, Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. M. Kumaresan, Assistant Professor, United College of Physiotherapy.

Resource Persons was welcomed by our Principal Dr. S. Gayathri, United College of Physiotherapy with Bouquet. First Session was shortly started. Mode of teaching was 20% theory and 80% practical, workshop went well.

In a short ending ceremony Resource person was honored with a memento by Principal and vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Krinshnaveni, Vice Principal, United College of Physiotherapy and the event was ended with the National Anthem by 5:00 pm. Feedback was collected from students and certificates were distributed.


Continue Medical Education

Continue Medical Education (CME) on General and Clinical Anatomy of Pelvis, its contents and Pelvic Floor was conducted on 09th February 2023. The purpose of this CME was to impart knowledge to students about the General and Clinical Anatomy of Pelvis.

Students of Batch 2023 (47 nos) participated in this CME Program. It was held in United College of Physiotherapy. The lecture was given by Dr. M. Sobana B.P.T., M.Sc (Anatomy), Associate Professor, KMCH Institute of Medical and Research, Coimbatore.

The Program commenced with a short introduction about the Lecturer at 01:30 pm delivered by Mr. M. Samuel, Assistant Professor, United College of Physiotherapy. Session was shortly started, extended up to 3 hours and was concluded by a vote of thanks delivered by a Student Representative at 4:30pm.

After the program we received a positive feedback from the students about the CME.
