In order to train the students in allied/related skills, the college conducts a Professional Skills Enhancement program, where students are given additional training in fitness management, Ergonomics, yoga etc. This widens the scope of practice and increases the job prospects of the students.
On September 11,12 and 13 an International Conference was conducted by SNS College of Physiotherapy, Coimbatore. In this 49 students from BPT-I (37) and BPT-II (12) United College of Physiotherapy were registered and participated in the events listed in the Conference and students from BPT-II year of United College of Physiotherapy were participated in workshops conducted in the Conference on September 11 & 12.
A workshop was conducted under the headings "Myofacial Triggerpoint release therapy" by Dr. Joel Godfrey Betram and "Fundamentals of Joint Mobilization and Manipulation" by Dr. Kannabiran Bhojan, were attended by our students.
On Sep 11 a snapper contest was takes place in which 02 students were participated from our college in this Nizma Khaleel from BPT-I bagged third prize. On the same day short film competition, paper and poster presentation also were held our students observed these events.
On Sep 12 paper art, culturals, face painting, megandhi competitions were conducted our students were participated in those events.On Sep 13 International Summit was takes place in that Dr. Narasimman Swaminathan, Dr. Kannabiran, Dr. Baskar Reddy and others were shared their knowledge and also an award function was held on the same day.
